Kathleen's birthday fun started Friday night at Acrobat - and may still be going on... Nilson's 7 years of DJ in Canada added to the festivities with 100% vinyl -- yes folks, 100% vinyl, milk crates full of LPs, no laptops -- with Cleveland's DJ Efrain Flores and DJ Nilson spinning some of the best stuff heard in quite some time.
Sherwin Boyne made his debut as a salsa and latin DJ as well, warming the crowd up after Gorete's Mambo Shines class and putting out some classic crowd moving tunes not recently heard.
11:15pm's showtime had the crowd cheering on two womens' troupes, iFreeStyle ladies putting out a three act show and Dance to Live Ladies' different take. Oh yes, there was definitely tribal bonding going on with all the women!
SalsaTO.ca is a lot more than just pictures and the events page as the crowd laughed and clapped through Sharon & Mike's entertaining and comic "Walk in The Park," un peu de grande bouffe set to an old Mamborama tune.
