Ms. Ito went on the salsa dance of her life right after Latin Groove Productions' Oscar & Tania's performance.
Those who know Oscar would have known something special was coming from the little wink and gesture he threw out to the crowd just as the music started. Ms. Ito didn't see it coming.
One turn followed another with Ms. Ito's bright bright smile lighting up that overcast day.
Oscar's mischievous smile grew just before a lift and a dip that left our erstwhile MC and radio host breathless and the crowd applauding!
Oscar brought it home spinning Ms. Ito into a dramatic - and totally unexpected - ending of a 90 second Salsa adventure, the crowd loving each and every second.
Ever the consummate host and now as the crowd discovered, an ace performer, Mary Ito didn't miss a beat as she finished acknowledging some of the bands and sponsors and performers, quipping about needing a trip to the chiropractor, all to the delight of the crowd!
