As the Thanksgiving long week-end started, the cold and the rush hour traffic and the city noise faded away as people passed through the Sheraton Centre's glittering turnstile, and rode the shining escalator down to the Canada Salsa Congress Wonderland, where three days of salsa escape from reality - shows, dance, workshop, socializing - awaited.
Along the way, vendors offering everything from shoes, to tee shirts to club and studio ware, pictures, music and instructional CDs and DVDs, tempted any and all who wandered down.
DJ Henry Knowles, Salsa Ambassadors with lumistick necklaces. Toronto's DJ Julio Cezar and NYC's DJ Henry Knowles worked the crowd as for that 4:00am. marathon, keeping them moving without wearing them out, keeping enough energy for those crowd uniting bursts.
