TLN's Salsa in Ontario express collided with the Ontario Place Soak City and it was Fireworks!
All day and into the night it was music, food, shows, contests, dancing, dancing, dancing, and fun!
It was room to breathe and move at the totally revampeded Heritage Square.
All afternoon, it was samba, mariachi and more, Latin and salsa with Trio Los Inolvidables and Caliente Drum & Danz at the Heritage Square gateway.
On stage, Carlos Bastidas Latin Band and Salsotika live.
Between sets, Steps ran lessons everyone could enjoy. The children's group Rhythmic Fire performed Reggaeton, Ray & Jen did a dance off with Alex with the crowd choosing the winner.
More dance contests with people plucked from the audience had everyone watching and cheering.
They even wore out their shoes dancing away!
Meanwhile, Bad Boy was living up to his name, shamelessly stealing dancing partners, dancing with any and all throughout the day and into the night.
As the sun faded, it was lakeside and the hillside amphitheatre Vista Courtyard for Yeti y Lady Sonthree sets of Salsa & Cha Cha!
Before and between Lady Son's Celia Cruz inspired sets, Latin Groove Productions Oscar Naranjo and his dancers' acrobatic salsa took fireworks to the stage and to the crowd!
As Salsa's last notes floated out over the lake, Fireworks lit the sky as the TLN Salsa in Ontario train hurtles to its last stop for 2009 - Saturday and Sunday 11-12 July Salsa on Saint Clair.
It's SalsaTO's YouTube for short videos of the music and the fireworks!
