The dedicated ones came out to celebrate nine years of Steps Dance Studio fun, five of them at 1643 Dufferin Street.
Nine years is a long time by any stretch and going from one person teaching classes in church basements all over Toronto to three studios under one roof with about seven instructors is an achievement.
In the cozy confines of the true studio party, Jennifer's schoolgirls performed a Merengue routine they spent but four weeks putting together. And the gang liked it.
The performances continued with Clifton and Jeffrey's Michael Jackson send-off.
Draws for Congress DVDs and a full pass to the 2010 Canada Salsa Congress rounded out the official part of the evening. Then it was back to dance.
The next Studio Party is in June and, the big party is Sunday 18 July's Salsa On Saint Clair Post Party.
