Sunday Night Splashdown"

As the Congress wound down Sunday evening, people continued dancing to some of the best tunes played by North America's best DJs. Getting the crowd going was Toronto's own DJ Billy Bryans and DJ Nilson. NYC DJ Henry Knowles and NYC DJ Nelson Torres continued to stoke the salsa fires the rest of the night.

Stepping out of the ballroom, people were talking, laughing, sharing their moments - and dancing on the carpets.

Spotted dancing in the crowd Sunday evening were Ismael Otero, Frankie Martinez, Super Mario, Jual Calderon, Dave Paris. Local salsa people included Rose, Marie Ehler in her cast, Giovanni Tores, Teddy, Rene Delgado, Carmelina Brown, Stephanie, Roland & Gorete, Oscar & Vanessa, Pawel & Dora, Carmelina Brown, TZ, Jasmine, Kathleen.

Dora was playing videographer, making a tape for Super Mario as the "million moves man" ran through a few to the delight of salseras and salseros gathered on the carpet outside the main ballroom.

Edie "The Salsa Freak" was at her table, chatting with all who wandered by. They have some more surprises up their sleeves as their Pepe Le Pew sketch (Al is a cartoon freak) brought the house down. And, they are calling it a mere work in progress! One wonders what a rough draft looks like.

The smiles on people's faces said it all.
